To purchase and redeem C10 tokens, you can interact with the Ethereum smart contract. This allows you to buy and sell tokens using ETH.
To interact with the contract you need to whitelist an Ethereum address. To whitelist an address you must successfully complete KYC. Note that persons from the United States, the Cayman Islands and South Africa cannot pass KYC.
You should whitelist an Ethereum address that you control, not an exchange address. For more help on creating a compatible wallet see this article.
Note that purchases and redemptions incur a 0.5% fee. A small amount of ETH is also required to generate any transaction on the Ethereum blockchain.
Purchasing tokens with ETH via the smart contract
To purchase tokens you send ETH to the smart contract address, and you will receive the equivalent C10 at the next price update. Price updates occur hourly.
You must send ETH from a whitelisted address, and we recommend setting the gas limit to 100,000. There is also a 0.05 ETH minimum in order for the transaction to succeed.
